Tuesday Notes – Talk to developers in the middle of the project – 03/12/2019

Hey everyone,

Here’s a few quick points on what I've been up to:

Podcast I'm listening to..

The Joe Rogan Experience

What I'm reading

Quote of the day

Humans respond to status indicators so small they are nearly imperceptible to outsiders. In fact, we quickly and easily respont to invisible status indicators that are entirely verbal , like “I’m agent Smith, LAPD.” Those four words will make you pay attention quickly.

Talk to the developers mid-project

If you are the person that is leading the testing effort or a testing team member, you should have a quick discussion with the programmers as to how the project is progressing. It’s good practice to discuss test cases before a project starts just to ensure that all scenarios have been covered and estimates are more accurate. During projects, some things might pop up when the developers are programming, some feature that may not have been considered or implications that might result in bigger testing.

Happy Testing!
