Quote from the book

Ten days of six hours of sleep a night was all it took to become as impaired in performance as going without sleep for twenty-four hours straight.

Deferred bugs on releases

When a feature gets tested, sometimes all the bugs do not get fixed. These bugs should be made known to the stakeholders affected. Recently, we had a feature that was released with a number of bugs that was agreed to be fixed at a later date. However, the release report was not circulated to a few internal business stakeholders so they started reporting alot of bugs. I promptly closed the reports and sent them a link to the release report.

When you prepare the final release report, it should clearly highlight the bugs that have not been fixed. There should be a clear section that makes the issues visible. This means that when the feature gets released there will be no surprises.

Happy Testing!
