Tuesday Notes – Be careful of your writing tone – 04/02/2020

Hey everyone,

Here’s a few quick points on what I've been up to:

Podcast I'm listening to..

The Wolf’s Den

Going from rags to riches, back to rags, and then back to riches yet again, Jordan Belfort is that rare breed of individuals who knows how to land on his feet, regardless of what life throws at him. A self-made multi-millionaire by his mid-twenties, the lessons he now shares - of his dramatic rise and fall - have made him a smash-hit on the international speaking circuit, as he helps both individuals and corporations achieve massive increases in sales, productivity, and teamwork.

An internationally bestselling author of three books, The Wolf of Wall Street (turned into a motion picture), Catching the Wolf of Wall Street, and Way of of the Wolf.

Quote of the day

Engineers agree to adapt the product to the business’s constantly changing requirements but are not responsible for the quality of those business decisions

Be careful of the tone of your reports

There will be nothing gained for putting down any blame in a bug report. It never pays to call a programmer, the bug reporter, or anyone in your company closed minded or a fool.

Imagine someone calling you a fool? You’ll start disliking the person and not want to interact with this person anymore. Now imagine everyone in your company is acting like this, you would want to get away from this company as soon as possible.

Happy Testing!
