Agile teams don’t have sprints. Scrum teams do.

Diogo you are right but also consider that agile is an umbrella term in which many frameworks can exist and scrum is one of them. If we use the term “sprint” loosely, a sprint can be another word for timeframe. From experience, when there are no agreed upon deadlines within certain timeframes, projects drag on. For example, you may have 1 month do a certain project but you can show the customers some working software within week 1 to show the progress of the project.
